Anderson returned his interception 75 yards for a touchdown and Marino-Silver picked off a pass late in the game in the end zone. … Three quarterbacks played for Gaither — Blake Price, Tyler Valdez and Gavin Denboer — and they had almost equal playing time during the Cowboys’ 7-0 victory against Sickles. Afterward, however, Gaither coach Jason Stokes said the job is still very much up for grabs. … Gaither gained most of its yardage on the ground with TJ Williams leading the way with five carries for 44 yards. Williams, however, also caught a 28-yard pass for a touchdown. … Steinbrenner’s Noah Ruggles nailed a 45-yard field goal late in the game to help keep the Warriors within striking distance late.
