A few changes to the Tampa Bay Boys Hoops Top 10:

  • 3. Jesuit Tigers (13-1): Tigers are defeating opponents by an average of 21 points per game.
  • 6. Bartow Yellow Jackets (9-6): The Yellow Jackets have defeated opponents by an average of 28 points in four-straight victories.
  • Visit the FHSAA’s website for a listing of sports and state championship schedules.
  • 9. Wharton Wildcats (8-2): Wildcats lost their cool and the game against Dr. Phillips.

Tampa Catholic remains the top team in the Spectrum Sports Boys Hoops Top 10.

1. Tampa Catholic Crusaders (11-2): Condensation forced the premature ending to the Crusaders game against Jesuit, but not before Kevin Knox proved his dominance.

2. Tampa Prep Terrapins (13-1): The Terps didn’t win the Headmaster’s Challenge Cup, but the hoops team capped off the day with a win over Berkeley Prep.

3. Jesuit Tigers (13-1): Tigers are defeating opponents by an average of 21 points per game.

4. Sickles Gryphons (13-3): Gryphons defeated St. Pete 54-46.

5. Lakewood Ranch Mustangs (12-2): Mustangs have averaged 68 points per game in three-straight wins.

6. Bartow Yellow Jackets (9-6): The Yellow Jackets have defeated opponents by an average of 28 points in four-straight victories.

7. St. Petersburg Green Devils (5-7): Looking to bounce back after loss to Sickles.

8. Nature Coast Sharks (16-0): Sharks remained perfect with a win over Alonso in their own holiday tourney.

9. Wharton Wildcats (8-2): Wildcats lost their cool and the game against Dr. Phillips.
